Cheryllynn Carter: Voice Over Producer/CD

From the basics of how to get auditions to what to expect from a V.O. session, this course will cover how to know your audience, developing characters and using your acting skills to perfect V.O. work.

Cheryllynn Carter has produced and cast 100's of television commercials (including Super Bowl ads), radio, and interactive spots at TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles for almost 14 years before branching out on her own with Precision Talent, where she produces audio, coaches voice over talent, and casts commercial projects.

Voice Over Intensive: Fridays 6pm - 9pm - 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1 - $200

Kari Kurto: Casting Director

First time at ACW!!  Previous credits include: WEEDS, KATH & KIM, MY NAME IS EARL, IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, YES DEAR, COME TO PAPA, BLACK WHITE and BLUE (staring Michael Clark Duncan, Kiele Sanchez, and Tom Skerrit) and many others.  Now on her own casting lots of indies!

Orly Sitowitz: Casting Director

Learn the do's and don'ts of the audition process from someone who does it for a living!  Orly will take you through the process step by step so that you can better understand how to audition and book the job!

A very respected Hollywood Casting Director!  First time in to ACW!!  Previous credits include: THE JAIME KENNEDY EXPERIMENT, BLUE COLLAR TV, DUETS, GOING GREEK, 9 DEAD and many more!  She has done countless network pilots including: Monster of the House, Capitol Hill, Windfall, MILF & Cookies, and too many more to list.

Casting Intensive: Thursdays 7pm -10pm - 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7 - $225

Jeffery Brooks: Manager, Producer, Actor

Jeffery works with actors to blend the business of the industry with the creativity of acting; coaching actors on character development and how to obtain representation. Rather than concentrating on one technique, Jeffery teaches students to utilize all disciplines and tools at their disposal to become the actors they want to be.

Jeffery Brooks' has coached actors to find success on such shows as CSI: MIAMI,  Without A Trace, Heroes, Everybody Hates Chris, My Alibi, CSI: NY, MADTV, ER, Life,  Zoey 101, CSI, ER, Two and a Half Men, Ghost Whisperer, EX List, Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Entourage, Life, LAPD, Grey's Anatomy, I Carly, Young and the Restless, General Hospital, Cold Case and NUMB3RS.  He has also worked to place actors with some of the biggest agencies in town!

Audition Technique: Tuesdays 7:30 - 10:30 - 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19 - $325/6weeks

Scott Wissner: Commercial Casting Driector

Learn what really goes on in front of and behind the camera at a commercial audition.  Beyond reading copy and understanding product placement, this course will also dive into techniques you can use to improve your confidence and commitment in the room.

Scott has 25 years experience as a commercial casting director!

Commercial Intensive: Mondays 7pm - 10pm - 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11 - $225

Nick Anderson: Casting Director

You've known Nick from his work on hit shows like: My Name is Earl, Ugly Betty, Will & Grace, In Treatment, and True Blood.  Nick has expanded to include films, commercials, and even hosting.  He's known for his honesty so if you're looking for a no nonsense class, these are the ones for you!

COMEDY: Sundays 10am - 1pm - 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 - 10am to 1pm - $225

SCENE STUDY: Sundays 1pm - 4pm - 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24- $225
