On Camera- Basic Unarmed Combat w/ Marc Leclerc

Saturday, December 16, 2017 10:00 am

ALL DAY INTENSIVE- Unarmed Combat for the Camera & Stage

Having the basic knowledge and vocabulary of combat means that you can audition for, and accept, more highly physical roles, as well as add those skills to your resume! When you find yourself up for a physical role, you can go into the audition with confidence! You will learn how to tell a story rather than just perform a “fight”.

This class will explore the basic tools that actors should have when faced with a physical altercation in a play or film. You will learn how to fall to the ground safely and dramatically, how to “strike” an opponent WITHOUT making physical contact, and how to “strike” an opponent WITH physical contact. By the end of this class you will have a working knowledge of unarmed fight techniques that look dynamic and exciting on stage and on camera.

This class is limited to 12 students.  Actors of all stunt levels welcome, but must be 18 years or older (legal 18 not accepted).  This class will be on camera for in class review only.

This is an ALL DAY INTENSIVE from 10am-6pm.  Please bring a snack or small meal for a 20 minute break.

**Intensives are special events and not eligible for vouchers.  Please be sure you can attend before registering.
